An old work mate and I enjoyed sharing puns around the office. Our days were spent punning around (while we worked super hard of course). Having noticed my love for leggings (and a good pun) he gifted the idea to me of ‘Punts’. PunderPants is the natural and organic evolution from the punt. Underpants = PunderPants! Puns for the funny bums of the world!
It didn’t take long to find others that loved puns, and the idea of PunderPants. After working on creating a list of puns it was shared with some fellow punoisseurs. As a result a selection of the most popular puns was chosen. Armed with these I approached an artist friend of mine, The Art of Matty Taylor. and was stoked when he agreed to work on the first pundie run designs.
I have a love for supporting artists and collaborating on projects. My goal for PunderPants is to provide a platform for artistic sharing. After 4 or 5 years of floating the idea around, trying to start the project (only to be distracted by other life matters), I am super excited to see this project become a reality and finally be able to share it.
